JOB SUMMARY:

Recruit Rooster is an innovative technology provider who is currently looking for a Front End Developer. This individual should have extensive hands-on industry experience, front-to-back understanding of multi-tier web applications, and is passionate about providing a great customer experience. This individual will develop career sites from layout to production, striving to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation that promotes the employer’s brand. This individual will collaborate with the implementation team to ensure the digital design is integrated within the overall employment brand vision of our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain existing customer career sites and serve as the lead working to create the vision of career site rebrands to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide development and design for new products and templates; present concepts and designs to internal teams and customers for consideration
• Set up Google Analytics and review results to measure effectiveness of customer career sites and plan for improvements
• Troubleshoot development issues and bugs of existing career sites platform
• Research and stay abreast on design of interface elements, including visual treatment of text, graphic page elements, and navigational components; conduct design trend research and presentations to ensure the association stays relevant

REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.):

• Expert in HTML, HTML5, CSS
• 2+ years’ experience in Vue/JavaScript/jQuery
• Experience with Github
• Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Training and/or Certification
• 2+ Years Development
• 2+ Years Digital Design
• Has worked in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with Stakeholders to build quality software

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Experience with search applications
• Experience with WCAG 2.0 and Accessibility Standards
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Experience with Google API’s (Search, Maps, etc.)
• Experience with AWS or other cloud deployment environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, Kinesis, Lambda, CloudFront and others
